AFTER INSTALLATION

After the installation is complete, take a few minutes to inspect your vehicle for the following:

Check around the top and sides the windshield area for any fresh scratches. Also, check the top of your fenders and back edge of the hood.
Check the molding to make sure it looks the same way it did prior to replacement. Sometimes a molding that covers a pinch weld will have some ripples or waves from the way it was packaged. Most of the time you will be told that the ripples will lay down over time, (and this is usually correct) but the technician can also get these ripples to lay flat with a heat gun. This is an option that depends strictly on your preference.
Check the wipers and the cowl for any damage and to insure they are secure. Be sure to look under the hood as many cowls have fasteners that cannot be seen with the hood down.
