If you are having a component replaced that moves independently (i.e., door glass or a back glass) that is not installed with urethane, here are a couple of additional tips:

• Open and close the window several times to insure smooth operation and that there are no unusual noises.
• With the door or hatch open shake the door or hatch vigorously to insure that most of the glass has been removed from the interior of the door or hatch. Although it is next to impossible to get every piece of glass do to the design of the door, it is quite easy to tell the difference between a few pieces of glass and a pile of glass.
• Any decent glass company will vacuum your vehicle when a piece of tempered glass has been broken. Check on the sides and under your seats to insure a good vacuum job.
