Safety Tips - Insuring the Integrity of the Seal

The technician should cover some special instructions with you to help insure the integrity of the seal. There are 3 basic rules for any component that is installed with urethane and they are:
- Weather permitting, leave 1 window cracked open slightly. The time may vary with the urethane product, but we recommend 4-6 hours for our product. If the weather does not permit this, we recommend that you close your doors as easily as possible for the same amount of time. This is to keep interior cabin pressure off of the new seal when shutting your doors.
- No high pressure car wash for 24 hours.
- He should also tell you recommended safe drive time.
This will help insure safety and also prevent any problems with leakage.
